Howler have today (21st January) returned with details of their second album, accompanied by a new single and a tour of the UK.

The band, who have remained silent since the success of 2012’s ‘America Give Up’ , and have since recruited new member Rory MacMurdo on drums,  premiered the video for upcoming single, Don’t Wanna’  (below) alongside the announcement of their follow up album, ‘World Of Joy’, set for release on 25th March via Rough Trade Records.

Of ‘World Of Joy’, frontman Jordan Gatesmith has said “The songs and the record, ultimately, became accounts of Ian, Max, Rory, and I living and dreaming passionately, the record is supposed to be almost like a jukebox at some sloppy bar in Minneapolis playing things like: Thin LizzyThe ReplacementsThe Modern LoversKISSThe SmithsThe Stooges, and other randomly assorted bands. It’s a tribute to our love of rock ‘n’ roll and to the lineage of that genre we so admire.

Alongside this, the band have announced a UK tour to coincide with the release in March/April this year with full dates below:

Bristol Louisiana (March 24)
Brighton Bermuda Triangle (25)
Cardiff Clwb Ifor Bach (26)
