After turning heads with their debut double single Money/Crawling back in March, Hull quartet Life are back this week with Take Off With You.

Mixing the modern garage – punk twists of the likes of Parquet Courts with the jolting riff influence from those like The Strokes, the outfit have come up with an optimistic burst of guitar fuelled sounds on this release, and combined with the carefree chants of frontman Mez Green, Take Off With You makes up 3 minutes of an unadultered refresher in the latest wave of UK rock sounds.

Set to nab the appeal of Baby Strange, Drowners, Best Friends and those alike proving guitar music is still very much alive and kicking, and having stormed Birmingham & Beyond festival last weekend, Life are due for great things in the coming months and this single is only helping those matters.
