RADSOUND // SOTW: PEOPLE PLACES – BLOODFLOWER
Originally published on Radsound
This week brings electronic duo Bloodflower’s latest offering in the form of ‘People Places’.
Destined to be the only track with an overpowering cowbell you will hear all week, ‘People Places’ is the third snippet of electronic delight from the outfit. Recalling the 80s new wave of the likes of Depeche Mode with a twist of modernity in the vein of Hurts, the track is comprised of darkly atmospheric vocals with a tough musical backing of intricate percussion and razor sharp synth melodies so precisely executed it feels only right that ‘People Places’ should be a big enough dose of musical excellence to catapult the duo into the spotlight.
‘People Places’ is out now via Jumping Frog Records.
